Metal Injection Molding
offers the complex part geometry of plastic with the wear and strength
of metals. Typically conventionally machined parts with small complex
part geometries generally have long lead times with substantial part
costs.
We mold a variety of
metals in both ferrous and non-ferrous materials. our standard materials
include 17-4 PH, 304, 316L, 440C and 420 in the stainless steels
and M-2, M4, M-42, D-2 and T-15 in the tool steel grades. In our
heavy metals we produce several grades of tungsten carbide with both
nickel and cobalt binders in addition to various grades of tungsten-copper.
We have several grades of low carbon and iron materials in 8620,
4650 and 4680. We can also custom blend standard AISI steels in
addition to special alloy materials, to suit customer requirements.
Our feedstocks are
purchased exclusively from RYER, Inc., a manufacturer of standard
and custom MIM feedstocks. www.ryerinc.com
